Is the Galaxy S26 Ultra Battery Bigger? All You Need to Know

It has been rumoured for a long time that Samsung won't bring a bigger battery to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, a new report claims that Samsung's next flagship smartphone will be powered by a battery that is bigger than the one used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Galaxy S26 Ultra could be powered by a slightly bigger battery

According to a Chinese tipster, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is powered by a 5,200mAh battery. If this is true, it is just a 4% bigger battery compared to the battery that powers the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It might not be a sizeable upgrade, but combined with a more efficient display panel and a newer chip, it could still bring longer battery life.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also expected to feature 60W fast wired charging. If that information turns out to be true, it would be a sizeable upgrade over the Galaxy S25 Ultra's 45W fast charging. The upcoming flagship phone is also expected to have 25W fast wireless charging, possibly via the Qi2.2 standard. It is also rumoured to have built-in magnets for charging alignment without the need to depend on a case with built-in magnets.

So, whether it is charged wired or wirelessly, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could charge from 0-100% within an hour. And the slightly bigger battery should also offer slightly longer battery life on a single charge.
